Certified Nursing AssistantsandCertified Home Health Aideor individuals enrolled in an approved nursing aide certification program.
Shifts Available: 7am to 3pm/3pm to 11pm/ 11pm to 7am
Positions Available: Full time, Part time, Per Diem

Activity Assistant (Full time) for MHS/MHAL
Purpose of this position:
To assist the Activities Director in providing recreational programs and activities that meets the psychosocial needs of the residents. Plan and lead program for cognitively challenged residents.
The Activity coordinator/assistant will provide recreational programs that meet the psychosocial needs of the residents and to complete and provide the Unit’s documentation requirements. 

Qualifications
• Exhibits a caring and compassionate attitude while articulating true concern for  people
• Able to make responsible choices and decisions, and act in a resident’s best interest
• Exhibits a caring heart with a passion to care for the elderly adult
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to prioritize, is flexible, and organized
• Must be at least a high school graduate.
• Should have interest in hand crafts, games, etc.Must be able to verbally communicate well with residents and others.


Cook/Dietary Aide (Per Diem) for MHS
Purpose of this position:
To prepare and provide food service to residents in a cost-effective, efficient manner to safely meet residents’ needs in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.  The cook is responsible for the overall dining services operation of the FNS department in the absence of the Food Service Director. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, staff supervision, the preparation and serving of meals, sanitation of food service areas, accurate record keeping, receiving, rotating, and inventory of products, and all regulatory compliance.

Qualifications
• Exhibits a caring and compassionate attitude while articulating true concern for  people
•  Able to make responsible choices and decisions, and act in a resident’s best interest
•  Exhibits a caring heart with a passion to care for the elderly adult
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Experienced as a cook
• Ability to read and follow recipes
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to manage and supervise staff
• Possess good judgment, problem solving, and decision making skills
• Must have at least 4 months related experience for food service.
• Must be physically healthy and free from any communicable illness.
• Must be able to understand resident’s diet and restrictions.


Full Time EMT

This position transports and cares for clients transported to various appointments, hospitals, schools, and facilities.  He/she is responsible for the safety and well-being of clients during transportation to their destination. The field associate-EMT will comply with all state, local, and company policies and procedures applicable to his or her level of training.
• Capable of comprehending, executing and acting within scope of practice.
• Neat and well-groomed appearance.
• Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills in a diverse population.
• Flexible in dealing with people, able to meet the public in a poised manner.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to set priorities, work accurately and organize work efficiently and confidentially.
• Demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness.
•  Highly motivated and can work without direct supervision
• Must be well organize and can meet deadlines
• Must be able to keep & protect confidential information
• Must be an MVAT and EMT
• Must be CPR certified.

 

Housekeeper
This position is a key member of our team. He or she is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our facility, and ensuring that visitors, residents, families, and other employees have a positive impression of our physical environment. Additional duties include cleaning of common areas, project cleaning, as well as the weekly cleaning in the resident’s rooms. Housekeepers work closely with the ESD supervisor to assure that all daily and weekly assigned cleaning tasks are completed.
The purpose of this position is to implement facility housekeeping procedures in an efficient, cost-effective manner to safely meet residents’ needs in compliance with federal, state and local requirements.
