RN Unit Manager

Purpose of this position:

To supervise, provide and coordinate nursing care in compliance with facility's policies & procedures and to assess residents's care needs and take appropriate action.

Qualifications:

1. Maintains a current state license as a Profesionnal Registered Nurse in the state of  New Jersey.
   
2. Knowledge fo clinical management and prinicples supervison in the care for the elderly.
   
3. Able to work flexible hours and be available to respond during off suty hours to resdient problems and emergencies.
   
4. MDS knowledgeable.
   

1. A minimum of three years experience in long-term care.
   
2. Exhibit a caring heart with a passion to care for the elderly adult.
   
3. Supports resident advocacy.
   
4. Good assessment skills.
   
5. Good organizational and management skills.
   
6. Exhibits a caring and compassionate attitude while articulating true concern for people.
